Welcome to The Writing Grove, a free writing game made by Ms. Hart. By playing, you agree to these simple terms. Parents and teachers, please read them with your students.
Using the game
- The Writing Grove is free for students, families, and classrooms to use for learning.
- Please be kind. Choose a friendly name. Names with unkind or inappropriate words are not allowed.
- Please do not try to break the game or overload it.
Sharing
You may play the game and share its link. Classroom use, such as showing the game to students or printing a report card, is welcome.
Report cards
A student can save their own report card as a picture. It belongs to the student and stays on their device.
No guarantees
The game is provided “as is.” Ms. Hart works hard to make the lessons accurate, but cannot promise the game will always be available or error-free, and scores and grades are practice feedback, not official school grades. Progress is saved on each device and may be lost if the browser’s data is cleared.
Limits of responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Ms. Hart is not responsible for any loss or damage that comes from using the game.
Changes
These terms may change from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to play means you accept the current terms.
